Inside the Mercy Goods store, filled with handmade furniture and goods

Goods that do good.

Handmade furniture, cutting boards, candles, and apparel — built by young makers, sold in our store. 501 Morton St, Richmond, TX · Monday–Saturday, 10am–5pm

Made here, with purpose

Everything on our shelves was built by a young maker.

The Mercy Goods store isn't retail for retail's sake — it's the last step of a young person's training. Makers design, build, finish, and price the goods you see, then see them sell. That's a real paycheck attached to real skill, and it's how a first job takes root.

How custom furniture orders work

Five steps, one conversation at a time.

  1. Tell us what you have in mind

Send the inquiry form below with the type of piece, size, and how you plan to use it.

  2. Talk through the design

We'll follow up to work through wood, finish, timing, and budget.

  3. Get a quote

Once the details are set, you'll get a firm quote for the build.

  4. We build it

Your piece is built in the shop by a young maker, with a mentor guiding the work.

  5. Pickup or delivery

When it's finished, we'll arrange pickup at the store or delivery to you.

Custom furniture inquiry

Tell us what you'd like us to build.

The more detail you share, the better we can quote your piece. Questions first? Call (512) 825-3347.
